I have felt like I have been in a funk lately. I have had so much going on that I have barely had time to breath. I was just telling a friend that my parents (whom I live with) are going out of town next week and that just happens to be the week my children will be with their dad. So I am going to do some serious relaxing. I will get some much deserved privacy and peace and quiet.
But I know that this will be a temporary fix. I think I need to go visit my mountain. I love it there. It is the one place that technology can't reach me. I will be able to leave my telephone because I know it won't work there. AWWWWW RELAXATION!
Have any of you thought about how much rely on technology? I don't go anywhere without my cell phone. I am constantly on a computer all week because of my job and then on it when I get ho me. No wonder my mind is turning to mush. I read somewhere that some family has a no technology day. On Sundays, they are not allowed to use their phones, television, computers or any other type of electronics. They claim it has brought their family closer together and that now they are putting there stuff down on other days.
I am not sure if this would work for me but I need something. I have been feeling so frantic lately. I can feel the panic creeping up on me. So that means a panic attack is in the near future. I hate those! I completely shut down. I don't sleep and then there is the crying. Oh man, the crying is horrible.
Yes yes..my need to decompress is pretty urgent. Next week will be a good start but I will have to take a trip to my mountain to get the full effect.
Well, now that I have rambled and I am all over the place, I will let you get back to your regular programming.
