Hello Friends,
I hope everyone had a great weekend. My weekend was ummmm.....let just say, I caused a little mischief and laughed so hard this weekend that my sides are still recouping. But enough about that.........................
Many many many moons ago, I use to write in a journal. I would write in it just about every night. Some days they would be well thought out ramblings then other days, they made no sense at all. I quit writing in them when someone that I trusted read them. Talk about someone knowing all your weaknesses and vulnerabilities. It sucked. I don't get people like that. How do you pick up someones diary or journal and read it? Wow, I am still holding resentment that I didn't realize was still there. Note to self: let go of old resentments. But anywho......I decided to start writing in a journal again. I needed a private outlet. So off I went to my favorite bookstore. (Gotta love BAM) I was looking for a journal that spoke to me. You know the one that says "PICK ME! PICK ME!" But I want it be a constant reminder that I need to write my feelings down. I bet I stared at the wall of journals for an hour then I walked around and looked at other books. Then I went back to the wall and said to myself, "Ana, just pick one". (Oh wait that shouldn't be in quotes since I don't call myself by my blog name) I grabbed a beautiful blue one and then AHHHHHHH (my musical sound effect ) there it was, the journal that I knew I had to buy.
This picture has so much meaning for me. If you look at the top, there is a hawk/eagle (not sure which one) but it means healing and guiding. Then we have the butterflies on the bottom which they mean transformation coming. ." And if you notice the woman ( I know she is hard to miss) but she looks like she is on a journey. Yep, this book was meant for me.
I know that this journal will help with the healing process and will also help clear my head of all the clutter.
It was nice visiting with you again. And as they say in the south. "Come back now, ya here!"
Blessings,
Ana

It is beautiful! I love that artist, I want to say it is Josephine Wall but I might be wrong about the name. No missing her work however!
I can spend an hour easy perusing for things to write in and with, I love everything about a new journal and the blank pages begging to be filled.
